Dear All,

Having had no problems gaining access to CT data since the local Gov act 2003, I've recently been advised that this will no longer be the case. Apparently the way this data is held is being changed following a ruling from the Dept of Works and Pensions, and it will be subject to much greater security.

The upshot is that the Empty Homes Team at Derby will no longer have access to any CT data in a written format.

I'm told this situation is not specific to Derby but will soon apply to all LAs - are any colleagues experiencing similar difficulties and if so has anyone any suggestions as to how to tackle the situation?
