In a nutshell I’m finding our planning policy a slight barrier ( in some cases) when developing relationships and collaborating with investors.
Has anyone any good practice/ ideas on how to work with planning that shows some discretion when you have extremely long-term empty properties, that are going to be difficult to renovate
For example some of the investors I’m working with are snapping up some difficult properties, that no one else wants and have been there years. I’m trying to collaborate with them more and look at how the planning process can assist them to bring the property back into use quicker but stay viable for the investor- such as a pre- pre planning formal discussion.
Has anyone reviewed their planning policy that takes account of the above.
