Has anyone gained an EDMO yet?

We are a new team and are looking at piloting some EDMOs.

Are there any authorities that have secured an EDMO yet?

If so, are there any practical lessons/advice that can be given?
What part did Housing Assocaitions play in the process?
Has anyone considered using private landlords for the capital expenditure?

Watford BC has recently

Watford BC has recently applied to the Residential Property Tribunal (RPT) for authorisation of our first Interim EDMO.   The RPT has a guidance sheet and application form for this purpose.   It has issued "directions" for further information which the applicant needs to provide.

Our application did not describe the proposed management arrangements:  nor have the directions requested this information.

Our regional empty homes forum (Herts., Beds. and  Bucks.) has had protracted discussions (still not concluded) with a Housing Association over it providing an EDMO management service.

Just curious really - do you know whether the application  form was just a local creation or is it a national one that we'll all end up using?  Is there a national body for RPTs?
