HSSA - Planning Agreements
I have just completed the parts of the HSSA Return relating to empty homes and was sadly interested in the proportion of empties that benefit from Planning Consent (either to convert, extend, demolish, etc).
In Reading, 15% of Long Term Empties + Class A Major Works empties (as at June 30th 2010) had Planning Consent according to Planning's Hard Committments Report of 1st June 2009.
I do not have the same Planning report for 2010 yet, but am quivering with anticipation about what proprtion of empties will have consents this year.
Has anyone looked at this relationship between emptiness and planning consents elsewhere and if so, what did you find?
