New Projects - Homesteading and Youthbuild

Hi Everyone

This is my first post on the forum. 

I have recently come into post working as a Project Officer with the Empty properties Team at Stoke-on-Trent City Council. 

I have been tasked with working on two projects in particular: Homesteading and Youthbuild.

At present, both projects are at the viability stage and so I am currently researching these two areas to see if other people have carried out similar projects and how they went about this.

I would therefore be interested in talking to anyone who has been involved in similar projects or who could suggest any useful information / websites that I could read / look at.

Homesteading - locating materials on our website

Hi

The best way to find out information on the website for homesteading is to use the Search by Keyword facility and select "homesteading" from the list of Issues.  Search by Keyword can be found at http://www.ehnetwork.org.uk/taxonomy_browser.  That will bring up some useful links and also mentions of one or two projects in our News Summaries.  As Stoke are full members you'll get access to all the materials.

Let me know if you have any problems with the search facilities.
