Non-LTE Empty Homes
We have always published empty homes figures based on the C Tax 'Long Term Empty" Class.
We are about to include all other C Tax classes of empty homes as recorded by C Tax. This will bump our published figure up from 555 to 780.
The newly reported Classes are broken down thus..
50 “Empty” – ex class F’s where Probate has been granted over 6 months ago.
5 Class A empty for more than 6 months
3 Class D – Prisoners
58 Class E – gone to care home
78 Class F – deceased/no probate
4 Class G – occ prohibited by law
2 Class H – serene and priestly abodes
8 Class I – elsewhere receiving care
2 Class J – elsewhere providing care
8 Class L – Repo
1 Class Q – Bankrupt
7 Class T – Unoccupied annexes.
I am about to devise a service response with Legal Services and Community Care to the 186 care home/seeking probate/probate granted cases. We want to help these folks in a sensitive and proportionate manner.
Does anyone else have specific responses for different Classes?
