Dear Colleagues

It does appear that some - probably all - of the people who tried to access the newsletter sent over the weekend couldn't open it. Expletive deleted and apologies. It had tested OK but because of my admin role and the way I interact with the website I can't always quite replicate the situation of end-users elsewhere. For example I use Mozilla Firefox as my web browser as it is more standards-compliant than Internet Explorer.

I think I have identified the cause and fixed it. I attach a version 2 of the newsletter which is actually the same as the first newsletter but with a diffferent file name.

As a penance, I have added a new menu item under Information to list Newseltters, providing an alternative way of accessing them. You shouldn't need to be logged in to do so.

Apologies again and please tell me if you continue to get problems.

Finally - further apologies if you get both the Newsletter and a notification of the Newsletter. That should be fixed soon but it requires our complete new Notification system to be installed and that is still being tested.
