Following on from the successful 'Tools and Techniques' and 'Empty Homes: Policy and Practice' webinars, Fraser & Fraser are pleased to announce the next in their series of free to attend events, as Nick Beetham introduces Nick Pritchard-Gordon, who shares his insights into engaging with hard to reach owners of empty properties.
This is an interactive Webinar, so feel free to bring your comments, questions and observations.
Nick Pritchard-Gordon is a former EHN Chair and an Empty Homes Officer of 13 years at Reading BC. Covid saw him redeployed across the Council, spending 2020 delivering food parcels, consulting on self-management of allotments, enforcing Tree Preservation Orders, inspecting take-aways for Covid compliance, and working in a crematorium. In ‘Mad, Bad, or Sad – engaging with hard-to-engage owners’, Nick will share tips about how to engage with owners who don’t want to know. Nick apologises if the title of his piece causes offence. It’s only the ‘Bad’ that he uses in a pejorative way. It just happens the words are descriptive, shorthand and rhyming!

We look forward to seeing you on the 10th June.
