examples of covenants/ leases to ensure properties improved post sale.

Stafford Borough Council have recently received authority for a CPO which we are hoping for a very quick back to back disposal through auction.We would like examples other authorities have used regarding covenents and lease agreements to ensure when the property has been purchased that the work to bring it up to a decent home standard (no cat 1 hazards) is completed ASAP post sale.


Ray  we here in Birmingham sell the properties as leasehold only following CPO with aconvernant of 12 months to bring back into use  fully renovated etc ..then they can apply for freehold  at anominal fee once youre satisfied
